Financial Record Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Tax Specialist to support our clients' real estate and development portfolio. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and preparing reports under the guidance of our leadership and accounting partners.
This role is perfect for someone with strong bookkeeping skills who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and process transactions in QuickBooks Online (Canadian edition)
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements, as well as transactions from Airbnb, long-term rentals, and development projects
- Categorize transactions accurately according to provided guidelines
- Prepare data and schedules required for Goods and Services Tax (GST)/Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) returns for review and filing by our accountant
- Assist in gathering documentation for year-end tax preparation and audits
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or junior accountant role
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online, with experience working with an international version (Canada, US, etc.) highly desirable
- Experience working with international clients is highly desirable
- Skilled in using Google Sheets/Excel for data management and tracking
- Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail
- Familiarity with receipt management tools (Hubdoc, Dext) is a plus
