Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Industrial Automation Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automation Systems Design and Development
  1. Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems, including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider platforms.
  2. Develop and maintain control logic for manufacturing processes.
  3. Perform system integration and commissioning of automation equipment.
  4. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for control system failures.
Networking and Communication
  1. Configure and maintain industrial communication protocols, including Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and Profibus.
  2. Design and support industrial network architecture, including LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewalls, switches, and routers.
  3. Ensure cybersecurity best practices are implemented in control networks.
  4. Monitor and optimize network performance for automation systems.
HMI Interfacing and Integration
  1. Develop and maintain HMI screens using FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Ignition, and Wonderware platforms.
  2. Ensure intuitive and user-friendly operator interfaces.
  3. Integrate HMI systems with PLCs and SCADA systems.
  4. Provide training and documentation for operators and maintenance personnel.
SCADA System Design and Maintenance
  1. Design, implement, and maintain SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.
  2. Configure data acquisition, alarms, trends, and reporting features.
  3. Integrate SCADA with MES/ERP systems for data flow and analytics.
  4. Perform system upgrades and patch management.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, IT, and production departments.
  2. Maintain documentation, including electrical schematics, network diagrams, and software backups.
  3. Support predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
  4. Stay updated with emerging technologies in industrial automation and IIoT.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications

We require a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience and a strong background in industrial automation engineering.
