The role of Architect is pivotal in our company, requiring a self-motivated individual with expertise in ADU feasibility, site planning, architectural design, and permitting. This person must be capable of managing their own projects independently while actively collaborating with the remote team through project reviews, process improvements, and daily communication.

This position focuses primarily on accessory dwelling units (ADUs)—including attached, detached, garage conversions, townhouses, and condoization—and requires proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing architectural drawings, integrating permitting processes, working with city planners, and creating both 2D and 3D renderings.

A blend of creativity, technical expertise, and attention to detail is essential for this position. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio that showcases their ability to deliver high-quality designs within tight project timelines, typically ranging from 1 to 2 months.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing conceptual floor plans, elevations, and renderings using Revit, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Producing 2D and 3D drawings, renderings, and models
  • Ensuring brand consistency across all drawing sets
  • Coodinating and integrating engineering plans
  • Ensuring compliance with ADA, safety, zoning, and local planning codes
