About the Role

This position oversees consolidated financials, coordinates with operating company controllers, and plays a key part in monthly closes, tax support, and integration of new acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and be proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

Responsibilities
  • Consolidate financial statements across multiple subsidiaries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner with operating company controllers to close monthly books efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee holding company accounting functions, including payroll and accounts payable to maintain seamless operations.
  • Support annual tax filings, audits, and purchase price accounting during acquisitions to minimize disruptions.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable accounting policies and processes for a fast-growing organization.
Requirements
  • A CPA designation is mandatory for this position.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software is required.
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and comfortable working in a dynamic startup-like environment.
Experience
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting leadership roles, preferably with exposure to M&A and consolidation.
  • Experience with multi-entity financial reporting and fast-paced growth environments is highly desirable.
  • A background in acquisitive companies is an added advantage.
