Enterprise Sales Professional

 We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales professional to join our team and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships.

  • Develop in-depth understanding of Linux and cloud software ecosystem, and open source selling models
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial business terms with partners and customers
  • Build and expand strategic relationships with key stakeholders
  • Own the strategy and development of sales engagements, driving customer awareness of open source capabilities on Canonical Ubuntu
  • Deliver on targets, objectives, and provide a voice of the partner and/or customer
  • Travel internationally to drive partnerships in person, aligning and supporting internal Field teams to identify, support, grow, and transact business opportunities
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Product Management to deliver on targets, objectives, and provide a voice of the partner and/or customer
  • Lead executive interlocks between partners/customers and our leadership team
Requirements
  • Proven track record of exceeding expectations and achieving outstanding revenue results in the technology field
  • Experience with Linux and opensource
  • Exceptional academic background, regardless of seniority or current position
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or compelling narrative about alternative chosen path
  • Confidence to speak up, exchange feedback, and share ideas without hesitation
  • Leadership and commitment to skills development and mentorship
  • Passion for technology evidenced by personal projects and initiatives
  • High level of personal drive to meet commitments, excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability
  • Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events, up to two weeks long, and more regularly to meet clients and partners as required
