This exciting opportunity is for a highly motivated and experienced Arborist to join our team at Marivent Hotels and Resorts Inc. As an Urban Forestry Professional, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and beauty of our trees.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Tree Health Evaluation: Conduct regular evaluations to assess tree health, detect potential problems, and recommend preventative measures.
- Tree Maintenance and Pruning: Perform pruning, trimming, and shaping to promote healthy growth and maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Tree Removal and Disposal: Remove dead, damaged, or hazardous trees safely and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding areas.
- Client Communication: Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on tree care and landscape planning, developing tailored maintenance plans where necessary.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of tree assessments, treatments, and maintenance activities, preparing reports and proposals for clients or management.
- Certification: Hold certification as an Arborist.
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of tree biology, soil science, and pest/disease management, with proficiency in using arboricultural tools and equipment.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction, with a strong ability to problem-solve and think critically.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to work at heights and maintain physical fitness, with a strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
