As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of legal technology.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive developer with the skills to become a foundational member of our engineering team.

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using Ruby on Rails, adhering to best practices and high coding standards.
  • Collaborate closely with remote teams, providing clear and proactive communication to align on project objectives and technical specifications.
  • Lead development of core features, taking full responsibility for project execution, quality control, and deployment.
  • Support and mentor junior developers, setting an example in code quality, work organization, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, projects, and timelines, ensuring transparency and progress in remote collaboration.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to improve processes and drive continuous development excellence.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and insights clearly to team members and stakeholders in English.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within an engineering team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage complex projects independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and a proactive approach to collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
