This key position will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, optimizing resources, and maintaining cost-effective processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in team management, plant operations, cost control, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the yard's operations team to meet goals across Warehouse, Production, QA, and Logistics
  • Assess operational procedures, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements
  • Optimize resources to maintain cost-effective processes, meet goals, and ensure quality standards
  • Collaborate with the VP of Operations to set policies, procedures, and assist with budget management
  • Monitor data and operational metrics to achieve productivity targets and reduce costs
  • Address operational disruptions, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to minimize production impact
  • Provide guidance on staffing, training, performance reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related field
  • 5+ years of experience in plant or operations management, particularly in manufacturing or construction industries
  • Proven experience in team management, plant operations, cost control, and production schedules
  • Experience in lean manufacturing or other process improvement methodologies
  • Have strong industry-relevant experience in a managerial capacity
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work professionally and effectively in a wide range of areas
