Facility Design Specialist and Cost Estimator

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in preparing detailed construction documents, reviewing architectural and structural plans, and using specialized software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive construction drawings for windows, curtain walls, and panel systems
  • Perform material and quantity takeoffs by reviewing plans and creating summaries in Excel/PDF
  • Work closely with engineers to develop and revise designs and calculations
  • Ensure drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facility design, including curtain walls, windows, and cladding systems
  • Skilled in preparing detailed construction drawings and takeoff summaries
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, specialized software, and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of construction documents and architectural drawings

This role requires collaboration with engineers and project stakeholders to ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in the required software.
