Job Opportunity

The Digital Building Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality fault detection and diagnostics solutions to clients and partners.

This position requires an individual who can effectively collaborate with stakeholders, manage timelines and milestones, and provide exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fault detection and diagnostics products for clients and partners.
  • Contribute to onboarding projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.
  • Collect data, install data collection services, discover and organize data, and troubleshoot automated fault detection on HVAC equipment.
  • Review and validate software-reported results, providing accurate feedback for improvement.
  • Train customers and partners on data connectivity and networking issues, ensuring seamless integration.
Qualifications
  • A motivated individual with the ability to quickly grasp new technologies and concepts.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and partners.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, or 1-2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC, controls, or fault detection and diagnostics.
Technical Knowledge
  • Experience with BAS protocols (BACnet, OBIX, Modbus).
  • Understanding of BAS networking principles and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Experience
  • Automated commissioning, fault detection, and diagnostics experience.
  • Metadata applications (Project Haystack) knowledge and proficiency.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
