• The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and processing maintenance job requests in a timely manner, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken to resolve issues promptly.

• This role involves conducting regular inspections of buildings and facilities to identify potential hazards and taking corrective action to prevent accidents.

• The Building Maintenance Professional will be expected to stay up-to-date with all health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.

• A key aspect of this role is monitoring interior and exterior areas of the building to maintain cleanliness and conservation standards.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining office areas, including comfort rooms, common spaces, and main service roads.

• This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• The Building Maintenance Professional will be responsible for encoding maintenance job requests into our monitoring system, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately recorded.

• Delegation and scheduling of maintenance tasks to personnel will also be a key responsibility, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.

• This role may involve assisting with maintenance and installation work as needed, working closely with contractors and suppliers to ensure high-quality outcomes.

• Regular updates on the schedule of maintenance staff will be provided by the Building Maintenance Professional, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring repairs and maintenance concerns, supervising contractors as required, and reporting any issues that may impact maintenance services.

• A strong focus on documentation and filing will be essential in this role, ensuring that all admin documents are properly maintained and filed.

• The Building Maintenance Professional will be responsible for preparing and implementing administrative projects within established timeframes.

• Cleaning and maintenance of air-conditioning units will also be a key responsibility, ensuring that these systems operate efficiently and effectively.

• Closing coordination with the purchasing department for maintenance supplies and service quotations will be essential in this role.

• Working closely with contractors and suppliers to meet supply and service requirements will also be a key responsibility.

• The successful candidate will be expected to maintain positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, providing excellent customer service at all times.

• Screening incoming calls and transferring them accordingly, as well as receiving and distributing documents will be part of the role.

• Maintaining the reception area, including handling incoming and outgoing documents and materials, will be a critical aspect of this position.

• This role may involve performing other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

• 2-4 years' experience in building maintenance or a related field

• Knowledge of building administration principles

• Considerable knowledge of planning and zoning regulations

• Computer literacy, particularly in Excel

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Basic skills in air conditioning and plumbing

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision

• Self-motivation and a sense of urgency to take action
