About the role

Akari Lighting and Technology Corporation is seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Maintenance professional to join our team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This full-time position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our corporate facilities. As a Building Maintenance professional, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of the building's infrastructure, systems, and equipment, contributing to the overall functionality and appearance of our workspace.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the building's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Identify and address any issues or problems in a timely manner, ensuring the building's systems are operating effectively
  • Carry out minor repairs and renovations as needed, such as painting, carpentry, and basic electrical work
  • Coordinate with external service providers for more complex maintenance or repair tasks
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and inventory of supplies
  • Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to prolong the life of building assets
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a building maintenance or handyperson role
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of building systems, including MEPS (mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sanitary)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Proficient in the use of various hand and power tools, as well as basic maintenance equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues and external service provide

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php1,000.00 per day
