Job Title: Backend Developer

Cloud-based applications and platforms require a skilled professional to design, develop, test, and maintain their backend components.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to implement APIs, enhance system functionality, and ensure seamless integration of backend components.

As a Backend Developer at our company, you will have the opportunity to work with a young, dynamic, and motivated team of people. You will have a level of autonomy to perform your role while reporting directly to the CTO and collaborating closely with the Head of Product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of backend applications and APIs.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Support database management.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug backend issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies relevant to backend development and cloud computing.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of solid hands-on experience in designing & developing server-side applications including at least 1 year of experience with Nodejs.
  • Solid experience with Relational and NOSQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
  • Experience with unit testing.
  • Experience using Git.
  • Experience with designing API.
  • Docker.
  • Experience in SDLC process.
  • Understanding algorithms and data structures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with React or any other Front End frameworks.
  • SSR, SSG.
  • GraphQL, gRPC.
  • Knowledge of other backend technologies.
