Job Title: Data Insights Specialist

This is a remote opportunity to work with complex data, utilizing analytical skills to drive strategic decision-making.

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who can transform data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in analytics and a keen understanding of the education sector.

The successful candidate will utilize analysis, visualization, and storytelling to present findings in a compelling manner, supporting informed decisions across academic and administrative functions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyze large and complex datasets using Python and SQL to uncover patterns and trends.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Present findings through clear and concise data narratives and visualizations tailored to various stakeholder audiences.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative units to understand data needs and deliver timely, relevant insights.
  • Support initiatives related to student outcomes, institutional performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and security across all analytical outputs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working in or with educational institutions, with an understanding of academic data and student lifecycle metrics.
  • Proficiency in data analytics using Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and SQL (PostgreSQL or similar).
  • Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Google Sheets, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience presenting insights using tools like Google Slides or PowerPoint.
  • Certifications in data analytics are a strong plus.
