Business Data Analyst Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled data business analyst to join our team. Our team develops and supports the Nucleus platform, a data analytics solution for associations and nonprofits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support clients through implementation and platform adoption
  • Review and scope support tickets
  • Analyze client requests and assess next steps
  • Align client business rules with baseline configuration options
  • Solution client implementations based on client needs and platform architecture
  • Facilitate client meetings for site configuration and delivery
  • Manage progress on client deliverables
  • Monitor client sites and usage metrics to identify potential issues
  • Collaborate with clients to promote platform adoption and usage
  • Review and respond to support tickets and other client correspondence
  • Partner with engineers to address client issues and verify solutions
  • Analyze data discrepancies and logic implementation
  • Work with data engineers on business rules and logic implementation
  • Identify opportunities to expand client subscriptions to meet additional data needs
  • Communicate client feedback and needs to product management
  • Educate clients on product usage and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Preferably 2-4 years of client-facing business analyst and/or technical project management experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, especially in client support or client success
  • At least 3 years of experience collaborating with technical teams as a QA, BA, and/or PM
Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI
  • Familiarity with programming languages (SQL and Python) or comfortable working with programming queries
  • Knowledge of data governance and business intelligence & analytics
