Business Data Specialist

This role plays a crucial part in driving informed business decisions within an organisation.

Key responsibilities include collecting, analysing and interpreting data to deliver actionable insights that enhance business performance, streamline operations and drive efficiency.

  • Gather and interpret data from various sources to support planning and decision-making.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports and forecasting models for different business functions.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and develop targeted solutions.
  • Support financial and operational reporting by automating data extraction and analysis processes.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency and governance of data across systems and platforms.
  • Recommend new tools and processes to improve data-driven capabilities.

For this role we are looking for candidates with:

  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL).
  • Experience with ERP systems and business analytics software.
  • Ability to present complex data in a clear and concise format.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
