We seek a highly skilled GL & AP Specialist to join our team, focusing on:

  1. Ensuring all purchases are supported by purchase orders and goods receipts prior to invoice processing.
  2. Collaborating with Supply Chain and Warehouses to resolve discrepancies.
  3. Accurately recording and processing supplier invoices in a timely manner.
  4. Analyzing and reconciling supplier statements, addressing issues promptly.
  5. Accruing expenses for unpaid invoices at month-end close.
  6. Verifying staff claims and credit card transactions with proper receipts and approvals.
  7. Preparing monthly balance sheet schedules for Accounts Payable.
  8. Maintaining accurate filing and documentation for audits and inspections.
  9. Assisting with confirmations from third-party suppliers and intercompany recharges.
  10. Collaborating with regional finance teams for intercompany transactions and reconciliation.
  11. Supporting auditors on any audit queries.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Prior knowledge of SAP ERP is an asset.
  • Analytical, independent, and meticulous approach.
  • Self-disciplined with effective time management in a remote work setting.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
