The Appraisal Support Specialist will be responsible for researching and providing market information for small to medium appraisal assignments. This role is part of the Valuation function, inspecting and determining values of land, property, and businesses.

  • Aid in managing the preparation of real estate appraisal reports, including data entry, taking property photos, and driving the neighborhood.
  • Conduct preliminary research on a property, verifying comparables, demographics, market area evaluation, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare simple portions of an appraisal report and assist with examining and reviewing income-producing properties.
  2. Research market area and conclude what may impact property value.
  3. Develop comparison evaluations based on the sale of comparable properties.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
