Job Title: Software Quality Assurance EngineerOverview:

This role requires a skilled software quality assurance engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality software products. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing tests to ensure the software functions correctly and meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with software engineers to understand how each feature is implemented and its impact on the product.
  • Develop test strategies, create test plans, and write test cases to ensure software functionality and adherence to quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and report defects/bugs, providing clear and reproducible steps for software engineers to reproduce and address issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and test artifacts.
  • Share subject matter expertise with other team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in similar IT roles.
  • ISTQB or TMAP certification.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Experience with project management, test management, and bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
