Tax Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other compliance reporting requirements for assigned subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation, filing, and payment of tax returns and other compliance reporting requirements;
  • Evaluation and maintenance of accurate tax set-up in computerized accounting systems;
  • Performance of reconciliations between general ledger and tax returns to ensure accuracy;
  • Preparation and review of tax calculations, estimates, accruals, and provisions;
  • Resolution of tax issues and provision of audit support as required;
  • Coordination with tax consultants and authorities on tax matters;
  • Conducting periodic tax compliance reviews;
  • Research and interpretation of tax regulations, policies, and procedures;
  • Monitoring of tax regulation changes and assessment of their impact on the business;
  • Performing tasks as assigned by the immediate manager.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification. A minimum of 4 years of experience in tax-related work is also required. Experience in a major audit firm or multinational organization is an advantage.

A strong proficiency in IT applications like Excel, Outlook, SAP, and NetSuite is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment, are highly valued.

Work Location and Schedule:

The position is based in Ayala North Exchange Makati and offers a hybrid work setup. Traditional Shift Schedule (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, PHT) is also applicable.
