Virtual ELA Teacher Position

We are seeking a qualified Virtual Certified ELA Teacher to join our mission of connecting all learners with expert teachers and promoting educational equity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and pacing guides, effectively utilizing online tools to differentiate lessons and engage students, delivering live lessons during regular school hours, grading assignments, and providing constructive feedback to support student learning and growth.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and pacing guides.
  • Effectively utilize online tools to differentiate lessons and engage students.
  • Teach synchronously during regular school hours (4-hour minimum).
  • Evaluate and grade student work to track progress and support student growth.
  • Offer constructive feedback to support student learning and growth.
Requirements:
  • Active US state-issued teaching certification in ELA (6-12)
  • Proficiency in using virtual teaching tools and resources
