Job Summary:

The Procurement Manager – IT & Others Categories is responsible for managing procurement activities related to IT requisitions, including hardware, software, cloud services, IT infrastructure, and professional services. This role requires strong strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management skills to drive cost efficiency, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage end-to-end procurement of IT hardware, software, networking equipment, cloud solutions, and IT services.
  2. Develop and implement category-specific procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure supplier reliability.
  3. Collaborate with IT, finance, and legal teams to ensure procurement aligns with business and compliance requirements.
  4. Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify innovative and cost-effective IT solutions.
Further Responsibilities:
  1. Handle procurement for other indirect categories, including but not limited to:
  • Office equipment & supplies
  • Professional & consultancy services
  • Facilities-related IT needs
  • Special projects requiring IT-related or non-IT procurement
Work with internal stakeholders to define requirements and identify best-fit suppliers.Vendor Relationship and Contract Management:
  1. Source, evaluate, and manage IT and other category-specific vendors.
  2. Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing structures to secure competitive terms.
  3. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess vendor performance and ensure adherence to SLAs.
Budget and Cost Control:
  1. Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  2. Implement cost control measures while ensuring quality and efficiency.
  3. Provide spend analysis and forecasting reports to support decision-making.
Risk Management and Compliance:
  1. Ensure procurement policies and processes align with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Work with legal and IT security teams to ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity regulations.
  3. Conduct risk assessments for vendor contracts and procurement decisions.
Process Improvement:
  1. Identify opportunities to streamline procurement workflows using ERP and e-procurement tools.
  2. Implement best practices to improve efficiency and transparency in procurement operations.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience, with a focus on IT procurement and indirect categories.
  3. Technical Skills:
    1. Expertise in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation.
    2. Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software licensing, cloud services, and cybersecurity requirements.
    3. Proficiency in ERP and procurement management systems.
  4. Soft Skills:
    1. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    2. Ability to collaborate with IT, finance, and legal teams to ensure successful procurement execution.
    3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
