Senior Software Tester

The role of a senior software tester involves developing test plans, executing manual and automated tests, identifying and resolving defects, and championing software quality.

Effective collaboration with developers is essential, as is the analysis of requirements to ensure that financial technology applications meet global standards.

  • Test Planning and Strategy: Develop detailed test plans, strategies, and test cases based on project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts.
  • Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and prioritize software defects using standard bug tracking tools.
  • Requirements Analysis: Participate in requirement and design review meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project objectives and identify potential quality risks early in the development cycle.

This role requires individuals with 4-5 years of relevant experience in software testing. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of software testing processes, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall), and industry best practices.

Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools, proficiency with issue tracking and test management tools, and familiarity with API testing, performance testing, and security testing techniques and tools are also necessary.
