Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver scalable, maintainable, and performant front-end applications.
  • Set best practices, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with design, product, and back-end teams to deliver seamless experiences.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Deep knowledge of React (hooks, context, state management, component architecture, performance optimisation).
  • Strong knowledge of CSS and responsive design principles.
  • Proficiency in accessibility (WCAG standards) and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Testing experience: unit, integration, and end-to-end.

Optional positives:

  • Experience with Mantine UI library.
  • Experience with Zustand for state management.
  • Familiarity with React Query and Axios.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, with at least 3 years focused on React in large-scale applications.
  • Track record of building and deploying production-grade React applications.
  • Experience mentoring developers and contributing to engineering culture.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).

Salary: ₱150,000 - ₱200,000 a month

Working Hours: 8:30am to 5pm Mon-Fri (GMT)

Annual Leave: 15 days per year

Contract Type: Contractor

Required Equipment: Min 20 MB broadband line, PC/Laptop, and headset
