Cloud Advisory Professional

As a Cloud Advisory Professional, you will be responsible for delivering expert-level assessments and recommendations to customers on cloud adoption strategies.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of Microsoft solutions, including Azure and Microsoft 365. You will work closely with customers to understand their current state and define actionable cloud adoption roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end execution of cloud advisory services, including customer engagement and subject matter expertise on cloud discovery tools.
  • Educate customers on cloud assessment tools and manage the provision of advisory services, inclusive of customer engagement relating to deployment and data coverage.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting deployment for customers and performing workshops and other advisory services relevant to Microsoft cloud solutions.

Assessment Process:

  • Presales, Kickoff and Scoping: Understanding customers' business objectives and technical requirements, articulating the relevant benefits and outcomes realized through a cloud advisory service.
  • Discovery: Determining the optimal cloud solution to achieve the stated objectives, supporting deployment through complete discovery.
  • Analysis: Completing analysis of the collected data, identifying key insights, and producing an executive summary assessment report.
  • Review with Microsoft Solution Specialists, Account Team and/or Microsoft Partners before customer presentation.
  • Presentation: Presenting key insights and actionable recommendations in an appropriate summary form to relevant customer (CXO, Technical Lead, etc.) and Microsoft stakeholders (ATU, STU).
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Supporting a seamless customer transition into post-advisory actions with relevant Microsoft or Partner teams.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of practical experience in solution sales, technical sales, or consulting in Microsoft solutions.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong comprehension of Cloud technologies, Microsoft 365, and Azure solutions and related solutions/tools subject matters.
  • Cloud discovery platforms – practical experience assisting customers deploy, troubleshoot, and leverage the stated platforms (two or more).
