Foreign Exchange Risk Management Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's foreign currency exposure, forecasting incoming and outgoing flows, and working with senior financial staff to develop hedging strategies. They will also be responsible for reconciling FX transactions, providing regular reporting on exposures and gains/losses, and maintaining relationships with financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • FX Exposure Tracking: Monitor and manage the company's FX exposure across all markets and suppliers.
  • Forecasts and Planning: Maintain accurate forecasts of incoming and outgoing FX flows to support cash flow planning and risk management.
  • Hedging Strategies: Work with the CFO and VP Finance to develop and implement appropriate hedging strategies to minimize FX risk in line with the company's risk tolerance.
  • FX Transaction Reconciliation: Reconcile FX transactions and provide regular reporting on FX exposures, gains/losses, and hedging performance.
  • Relationships with Financial Institutions: Maintain relationships with financial institutions to ensure competitive rates and service levels.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have a strong understanding of FX markets and hedging strategies.

Bonus Points: Knowledge of internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements would be a significant advantage.
