Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our R&D team. This is an autonomous role where you will drive projects end-to-end with minimal supervision.

The Role

You will take ownership of designing and implementing backend architecture, building scalable services, and managing deployments/DevOps. We need someone who can bridge the gap between physical and digital analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement backend architecture for secure systems.
  • Build APIs and services for data processing, integrations, and real-time applications.
  • Manage deployments and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability across systems.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate backend solutions with various applications.
  • Work independently, taking ownership of technical decisions and solutions.
RequirementsTechnical Skills
  • 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more modern backend languages: Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask), Node.js, Go, or Java.
  • Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), APIs, and microservices.
  • Hands-on DevOps experience: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have
  • Background in AI, computer vision, or machine learning product development.
  • Experience with GPU-based deployments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools.
