Key Financial Operations Specialist

This role involves working closely with the Finance department to improve and automate business processes, integrating systems, and ensuring optimal financial performance.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial operations and the ability to leverage technology to drive efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with finance and payroll teams to identify process improvements and implement changes.
  • Work with the Enterprise Applications team to align system integrations with overall business objectives and technology strategies.
  • Maintain, configure, and optimize SaaS technologies such as Sage Intacct and Workday to support financial operations.
  • Prepare documentation for stakeholders on financial technology systems and processes.
  • Project manage change initiatives to ensure optimal results and thorough understanding of work undertaken.
  • Troubleshoot financial system issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in administering and/or implementing SaaS technologies, particularly Sage Intacct and/or Workday.
  • Significant financial technical consulting experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of core financial processes.
  • Experience operating in a consultative role to meet the needs of multiple finance stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of APIs, JSON, and systems integration principles.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in finance.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with out-of-the-box thinking to leverage flexible systems and processes.
  • Personal accountability and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders and collaborative working.
  • High emotional intelligence and sense of humor.
