Bridge Design Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced Bridge Design Expert specializing in bridge design to lead our project teams. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of professional experience with a strong focus on cable-stayed, suspension, arched, truss, and curved bridges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop bridge concepts and preliminary designs, ensuring aesthetic and functional integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams to align designs with technical and site-specific requirements.
  • Promote bridge design insights and solutions for various types of bridges, including cable-stayed, suspension, arches, trusses, and curved bridges.
  • Lead the transition from design development to construction documentation phases with external firms.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and materials relevant to bridge design.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineer or related field.
  • Licensed Civil/Structural Engineer or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of bridge design experience, with a primary focus on complex/unique bridge projects.
  • Proven track record of working on cable-stayed, suspension, arched, truss, and curved bridge projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sofistik software.
  • Strong understanding of design development processes and technical detailing for bridges.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, clients, and external partners.
  • A portfolio showcasing conceptual and design development work on bridge projects is required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment and collaborate with remote teams during US business hours.
