  • We are looking for an experienced professional with solid knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Ubuntu, RHEL, and OEL7.
  • Strong application support and debugging skills in fast-paced production environments are essential.
  • You should have experience with incident management, network basics, and troubleshooting skills.
  • A good understanding of production deployment, distributed environments, and virtualization, containerization is required.
  • Familiarity with load balancers, traffic managers, and Git, Jira, Jenkins is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring releases are done as per plan and progress is communicated to all stakeholders.
  • Resolving technical issues and escalations at the infrastructure and application levels.
  • Leading, driving, facilitating, and managing Incident bridge.
  • Providing scheduled on-call services for emergency changes.
  • Participating in site incidents troubleshooting triage efforts.
  • Working directly with developers to fix technical issues they are facing.
  • Improving existing processes and automating using new tools and scripts.
  • Working on different projects, providing status updates, and meeting stakeholder expectations.
  • Defining and improving existing releases and deployment processes.
  • Managing releases and deployments in a distributed environment across multiple stacks.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of total experience with a bachelor's degree.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Application support and debugging experience in fast-paced production environments.
  • Knowledge/experience of incident management.
  • Network basics and troubleshooting skills.
  • Loading balancer/traffic manager knowledge.
  • Virtualization, containerization knowledge.
  • Good understanding of production deployment, distributed environments.
  • Sound knowledge in one or more programming languages like shell, python.
  • Knowledge of GIT, Jira, Jenkins.
  • 4+ years in a production support role in a fast-paced industry/organization.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across global teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
