We are looking for a skilled Senior Go backend developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining high-performance, scalable and reliable backend services and applications using Golang.

As a Go developer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building high-quality, fault-tolerant systems and products with a strong focus on implementation, frontend, backend, CI pipeline, automated test suites and operations.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet business needs and drive technology forward.
  • Designing and developing robust, efficient and maintainable backend systems and APIs using Golang.
  • Writing clean and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Implementing unit tests and conducting thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and reliability.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 4-5+ years of proven experience with Golang, with a track record of delivering successful projects.
  • A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and software design principles.
  • Proficiency in Golang and a solid understanding of its concurrency patterns and best practices.
  • Experience with web frameworks for building APIs and microservices.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, Redis).
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • End-to-end knowledge of Frontend, Backend, CI/CD, Operations, with an understanding of what it takes to build a resilient, scalable service and support it in production.
  • Problem-solving skills focused on user experience.
  • Experience in cloud-based environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g. JavaScript, React, Vue.js) for full-stack development.
  • Previous experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Contributions to open-source Golang projects or active involvement in the Go community.
