Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks to ensure the high quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks to automate functional and regression testing
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Analyze and report test results to ensure high product quality
  • Provide technical leadership and support to fellow team members
Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of experience with UI Automation tools like Selenium, API automation works, Jenkins
  • Knowledge and experience with Robot automation framework using Python
  • 3+ years of experience working with Python and/or J2EE technology or equivalent object-oriented paradigm
  • Experience with automating test validation via API or through database using Snowflake, HIVE, or AWS Athena
  • Knowledgeable in Git workflows like branching, merging, and conflict resolution
  • Understanding of Agile testing methodologies required
  • Web application testing experience required for both frontend and backend validations
  • Technically well-versed in developing comprehensive test plans covering business use cases and test cases
  • Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, and SQL, NoSQL databases like Aerospike, Thrift, CI, and AWS highly desirable
  • Experience working with container-based solutions and fast-paced technology environments
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new tasks
