Job Title: Mechanical Drafter

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled technical professional to support our engineering and manufacturing teams as a detail-oriented and experienced drafter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks for parts, assemblies, and systems.
  • Develop technical drawings based on engineering specifications, sketches, and data.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and compliance with standards.
  • Maintain project files, update documentation, and adhere to revision control procedures.
  • Apply GD&T standards, drafting conventions, and maintain organized drawing files.
  • Support BOM development, create standard drawings, and assembly guides.
  • Review and validate drawings for accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in CAD, Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in roles requiring SolidWorks for modeling and drafting.
  • High proficiency in solid modeling, including assemblies, part modeling, and drawing generation.
  • Excellent file management, organization skills, and ability to maintain clear documentation.
  • Prior experience with scaffolding, guard railing systems, or similar mechanical structures is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME Y14.5.
