This role presents a unique opportunity to tackle challenging problems in B2B payments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement robust payment processing systems
  • Design and architect critical payment systems, integrating with various payment rails and banking APIs
  • Collaborate with the development team to lead feature development and work streams from design to deployment
  • Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and peer review, leveraging design patterns and architecture as needed
  • Participate in code reviews, pair-programming sessions, and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Contribute to domain understanding and bring a deep product mindset while building solutions
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, preferably in payments or fintech
  • Extensive experience in developing and integrating with banking and card scheme protocols
  • Mastery in at least one programming language (e.g., Kotlin, Java, Go, Scala, Rust)
  • Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases, distributed systems, and SQL data modeling
  • Experience with API design and development, cloud platforms, and container orchestration
  • Strong grasp of software design principles, architectural patterns, and SDLC best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
