Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a skilled software development engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and delivering open source software operations code.

About the Role:

  • This is an entry-level position for individuals with a strong passion for software engineering, distributed systems, and cloud computing.
  • The successful candidate will work on various projects, including the design and implementation of high-quality open source monitoring and alerting infrastructure.
  • Responsibilities include shaping open source operations for customers and the open-source community, demonstrating sound engineering design and testing principles, and following agile software development practices.
  • The ideal candidate will be a lifelong learner, eager to grow and develop their skills in a collaborative environment.
  • Global travel up to 10% of time for internal and external events.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science or related software engineering field (bonus points if graduated from university)
  • Practical knowledge of Linux and networking
  • Sound knowledge of cloud computing concepts & technologies
  • Organized and want your team to deliver timely, high-quality software
  • Golang programming skills (bonus points)
