Job Description

The Live Production Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of poultry live operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring optimal bird performance, animal welfare, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage live production operations to meet volume, quality, and cost targets.
  • Develop strategic plans for breeder, hatchery, and grow-out operations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with contract growers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Analyze production metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across the value chain.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or a related field. The incumbent must have at least 6 years of experience in poultry live production or related agricultural operations, with transferable expertise in animal health and production.

  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex operations.
  • Proficiency in analyzing operational data and financial metrics.
  • Experience in customer-facing or supplier relationship roles.
