The role of Senior Accountant encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including invoice entry, payroll management, financial reporting, and budget planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and accurately enter invoices in a timely manner
- Manage commission payments for sales representatives
- Prepare and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets with formulas
- Handle payroll processing in accordance with Australian laws and regulations
- Prepare and submit Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Generate monthly financial reports to track company performance
- Oversee debt collection processes to ensure prompt payment from clients
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting to inform business decisions
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in MYOB Premier software
- Strong knowledge of Excel, including formula usage
- Proven experience with Australian payroll and tax laws
- Experience preparing BAS and monthly financial reports
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
