Critical Systems Developer

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to fill a critical role within our organization.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of finance and financial systems, as well as experience with automated processes, cloud-based infrastructure, and continuous integration.

• Maintain and mature automated processes, including build management, continuous integration, environment deployments, release management and continuous monitoring.
• Develop and maintain standards, configurations, and scripts for cloud-based and on-prem instances and services.
• Provide servers and environments to development teams to support the creation, update, and deletion of test environments.
• Collaborate with other engineers to automate and set up new servers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and operating systems in both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures.
• Develop complex software applications involving creative application of design, coding, and debugging methods and techniques.
• Analyze logs to support security processes and ensure that infrastructure and build pipeline are running optimally and that automated and scheduled operations are successful.
• Plan, document, implement, and oversee infrastructure upgrades and configuration changes.
• Research and recommend new technologies based on business, end-user, and technology requirements and expertise.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning, testing, and response with a focus on system recoverability.

• Required Skills: Power BI, Finance/Accounting Knowledge, Workday, Accounting Software Support, Decision Focus Power App, and Snowflake (a plus).
• Experience with finance technology in a corporate environment.
• Familiarity with General Ledger Accounting and Reporting systems (GL, AR, AP, Consolidations etc.).
• Knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
• Experience with monitoring tools for infrastructure monitoring, reporting, and alerting processes.
