Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Web Designer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and WordPress, with the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts. They will also be proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving design or layout issues.

This is a full-time role that requires strong communication and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently on multiple projects. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of responsive web design and user experience principles, and will be able to deliver clean, polished work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design engaging website layouts, graphics, and digital assets
  • Populate and manage websites using WordPress, including installing/configuring plugins and customizing themes
  • Implement and modify designs using HTML, CSS, and basic PHP/JavaScript when needed
  • Ensure websites are responsive, optimized, and aligned with branding and client requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design or layout issues

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Web Designer or WordPress Designer
  • Strong graphic design skills with a keen eye for layout, color, and typography
  • Knowledge and experience in design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Figma)
  • Expert knowledge of WordPress, including plugins, themes, and site population
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and familiarity with PHP and JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of responsive web design and user experience principles
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver clean, polished work
  • Strong communication and time management skills; able to work independently on multiple projects
