Job Description

As a Business Performance Analyst, you will play a critical role in evaluating the financial performance of various business areas and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will work closely with the Group Business Controlling Team to analyse financial data, translate business areas' goals into measurable key performance indicators, and conduct commercial analysis to develop Financial Scenario Analysis.

Your expertise will be essential in providing recommendations to senior management on process improvements and implementing changes to enhance operational efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and risks.
  • Translate business areas' goals into measurable key performance indicators.
  • Evaluate cross-functional (business areas) financial results by analysing reports together with the Head Group Business Controlling.
  • Conduct commercial analysis and develop Financial Scenario Analysis.
  • Recommend process improvements to senior management and implement changes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor progress and ensure successful implementation.

Requirements

  • A controlling academic background (i.e., bachelor's degree in finance or business economics)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in financial controlling, business controlling, or group controlling preferably within the financial or IT industry
  • English-fluent
  • Expert in Microsoft Office applications and especially in Excel but also a skilful user of digital applications such as Power BI or SAP BW
  • High degree of confidence and flair for digital products
  • Exhibits excellent analytical skills, the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment, and meeting overall objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident in presenting and guiding cross-functional discussions
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills and high degree of initiative and dependability
