Job Summary:

  • Senior Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Manager to oversee our end-to-end financial management cycle, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and month-end close processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controllership, financial planning & analysis, and reporting. They will lead FP&A activities, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support business objectives.

This role involves overseeing month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. The successful candidate will also prepare, review, and present management reports, highlighting key business drivers, trends, and variances.

To be successful in this role, you will maintain and enhance financial models to support strategic decision-making and scenario planning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with operational goals.

You must ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. This includes developing and implementing process improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting.

The Senior Accounting Manager will mentor and lead a remote finance team, fostering a high-performance culture. They will support internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred)
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in controllership, financial planning & analysis, and reporting
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis
  • Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights
  • Excellent knowledge of financial reporting tools and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, etc. preferred)
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial audiences
