About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Professional to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in accounting to assist clients in achieving their financial objectives.

This is a remote full-time position that requires a strong working knowledge of client accounting software such as XERO, MYOB, Reckon, Banklink, Cashflow Manager and Phoenix. Your key responsibilities will include extracting reports and data from these programs, providing training to clients on their use, and assisting with their queries.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements, income tax returns, and Business Activity Statements for various entities based on source data provided by the client.
  • Maintain accurate client history, trust details, and complete financial statements and tax returns across all entity types.
  • Interpret and understand tax law and communicate complex concepts to clients.
Your Requirements
  • A degree in Commerce or a related field with a focus on Accounting.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Able to quickly adapt to new software, including Xero, MYOB, and/or QuickBooks.
