Freelance Peer Reviewer

We are seeking qualified researchers, retired researchers, and former researchers to engage in peer reviews for academic journals and publishers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate manuscripts for originality and novelty of contributions.
  • Assess the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of study designs and methodologies.
  • Conduct literature reviews to ensure thorough incorporation and citation of relevant research.
  • Analyze results and conclusions to evaluate their presentation and support by data.
  • Provide constructive feedback suggesting improvements or highlighting flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
  • Recommend publication decisions based on evaluation.
Requirements:
  • Hold a doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in the relevant subject area.
  • Have at least two publications in the last two years in your field.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the discipline.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrate strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
  • Be able to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Maintain confidentiality and objectivity throughout the review process.
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable but not required.
