Overview:

This position involves delivering exceptional support services to ensure the seamless operation of external applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage business-critical real-time trading systems, middle office systems, back office and settlement systems.
  • Interact with internal IT support functions and external vendors to troubleshoot complex incidents.
  • Actively identify incidents and manage resolution processes.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide services according to agreed SLAs.
Required Skills:
  • Flexible and professional under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a challenging environment.
  • Good understanding of enterprise technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organization skills.
  • Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required.
Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of electronic trading systems, middle office applications, and back office/settlement systems.
  • Database interrogation and manipulation skills.
  • Understanding of FIX Protocol and Microsoft Applications (Windows Server/Client).
  • UNIX/LINUX knowledge.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Experience in supporting production applications on Unix and Windows environments.
  • Extensive experience in supporting Front Office Trading Applications, Middle Office, Back Office, and Settlements systems.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent combination of education and experience.
