As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering medical coding education to new and existing medical coders.

This challenging position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical coding principles, including ICD 10 CM, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines, as well as experience in developing and delivering training programs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop Training Materials: Create comprehensive training modules for medical coding and billing, including updates on ICD 10 CM, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines.
  • Maintain Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in medical coding, including periodic updates, policy changes, and peripheral RCM topics.
  • Deliver Training Sessions: Provide engaging and informative training sessions for new and existing coders, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Evaluate Performance: Assess coder performance through quizzes, exams, and assessments, providing constructive feedback to improve overall coding accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: CPC certification from AAPC or CCS certification from AHIMA.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
