Senior IT Director Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior IT Director to oversee the management of our company's technology operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT system administration, data security, and infrastructure optimization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading strategic IT initiatives, managing information technology systems, and ensuring the security of our network access and backup systems.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have at least 5 years of experience in IT operations, with proven experience as an IT Manager or similar position. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is also required.

The successful candidate will be an expert in computer systems, security, network administration, databases, data storage systems, and phone systems. Strong project management skills, excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities, and effective communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic IT initiatives and manage information technology systems.
  • Ensure security of network access and backup systems.
  • Audit systems and assess outcomes to ensure efficiency.
  • Identify problematic areas and implement solutions promptly.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT.
  • Preserve assets, information security, and control structures.
  • Run regular checks on network and data security.
  • Implement process improvements to optimize IT operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT operations, with proven experience as an IT Manager or similar position.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network administration, databases, data storage systems, and phone systems.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage and lead personnel effectively.
  • Firm grasp of IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
