Our organization is seeking a seasoned software developer with expertise in Java programming to join our property and assessment team. This individual will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting software applications related to property and tax management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in object-oriented programming, data structures, and software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum. They must also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop new software applications from established specifications or documented requirements.
  • Maintain existing software applications by fixing bugs or clearing up operational deficiencies.
  • Assure program, module, and system integrity through thorough testing and adherence to company standards and procedures.
  • Work through all software development life cycle phases, including research, design, analysis, requirements, implementation, test automation, and maintenance.
  • Utilize new technologies and tools to modify products and provide integration with applications developed internally and externally.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or comparable work experience.
  • Typically, five or more years of software development experience with database technology.
  • Demonstrated proficient knowledge of software development practices, computer science theory, and understanding of relevant technologies.
  • Experience working with SQL databases, data modeling tools, and web services.
  • Ability to write and test code in reasonable timeframes and prioritize tasks effectively.
