Product Strategist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled product strategist to own our catalog from end to end, including product strategy, supplier management, technical support, and purchasing.

This role sits at the core of how we grow and operate. You'll help shape what we carry, how we launch it, and how we support it.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Act as the internal expert for all product-related questions and concerns
  • Support technical scoping and assist on large or complex RFQs
  • Train internal teams and provide tools that make it easier to sell and support what we offer
  • Build and maintain spec sheets, documentation, and internal product resources
  • Owning accuracy and documentation across our product listings is essential
  • Monitor performance, returns, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Identify gaps and lead the addition of new products by working directly with suppliers to source OEM or private label items and collaborating with the team to market and launch them
  • Forecast demand and ensure inventory levels meet business needs through data-driven insights
  • Manage purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, and track delivery timelines to meet deadlines
  • Evaluate supplier performance, including costs, responsiveness, and quality to inform future partnerships
  • Collaborate with the operations team to plan and adjust inventory levels and purchases as needed
  • Review and manage CAD files, certifications, and compliance documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain up-to-date product specs, listings, and supporting documents to ensure clarity and ease of use
