Job Overview

This role is responsible for planning, designing, and developing manual and automation test tools, methodologies, script, and executing end-to-end automation and manual test cases. The successful candidate will be accountable for creating test strategies, test plans, and test scripts for both automated and manual testing.

  • Develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks
  • Contribute to implementing repeatable automated tests during sprints to ensure quality, reduce test execution time, and incorporate automated tests into CI/CD processes
  • Plan the budget and labor needs of each sprint and product releases
  • Work in a dedicated squad team and help drive product quality
  • Ensure all assigned testing deliverables timelines are met within the sprint and product release
  • Create and communicate test reports for stakeholders
  • Liaise with business users, business analysts, and engineers to ensure that any assigned defects are resolved
  • Maintain awareness of external environments and trends in testing, contributing to the improvement of processes and assets
  • Promote productivity through test automation tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Coach and train other team members on manual and automated testing
  • Adapt new ways of working, find ways to continually improve, and actively participate in squad events
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of software testing experience (manual and automation)
  • Experience with automated testing tool Playwright
  • Experience in both manual and automated testing, including planning, test case design, test reporting, defect tracking, estimating, and test coverage
  • Experience working with external parties and vendors
  • Demonstrated capability to learn and understand a business and its processes and systems in depth
  • Experience with Selenium, as well as other tools (e.g., Java, Maven, and Postman)
  • Demonstrated skills with REST and SOAP webservices, and API testing
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines and parallel test execution
  • Experience testing web, mobile, and windows applications
  • Ability to work across multiple products/platforms/squads
