Electronics and Communications Engineering Opportunity

This role involves supporting a technical services group in all aspects of electronics and communications engineering works. The position is on-call and will be assigned to various project locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze system requirements, capacity, cost, and customer needs to determine the feasibility of projects and develop system plans.
  • Confer with engineers, customers, vendors, and others to discuss existing and potential engineering projects or products.
  • Review and evaluate the work of others, inside and outside the organization, to ensure effectiveness, technical adequacy, and compatibility in resolving complex engineering problems.
  • Evaluate operational systems, prototypes, and proposals and recommend repair or design modifications based on factors such as environment, service, cost, and system capabilities.
  • Coordinate activities concerned with construction, installation, maintenance, operation, and modification of electronic equipment, products, and systems.
  • Prepare engineering designs and specifications for construction, relocation, and installation of equipment, facilities, products, and systems.
  • Plan and implement research, methodology, and procedures to apply principles of electronic theory to engineering projects.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain maintenance schedules, design documentation, and operational reports and charts.
  • Design Electronic Systems, products, software, and components for scientific, military, medical, industrial, and commercial applications.
  • Create testing procedures and maintenance for electronic equipment and components.
  • Facility assessment and recommend design modifications and repairs.
  • Inspect electronic systems, instruments, and equipment to ensure they meet applicable regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering.
  • License Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) is required.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years in design and/or field experience.
  • Adequate relevant training.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to new technologies.
  • Must be physically fit and willing to travel.
  • Possess a valid passport and driver's license.
